​Nick Woodhouse

Nick Woodhouse is an Alum of the University of North Texas and has been working in the DFW area since 2021. He is well known for his bowed jazz solos, percussive upright bass playing, slapping, and breadth of genre knowledge. Nick has played in several sever ensembles like: Rebel Alliance Jazz Ensemble and their recording with Randy Brecker 2026, orchestras like the Dallas Asian Winds, African christian worship music, Various Gospel churches in DFW, Top 40 cover bands like Emerald City and Grooveline, Jubliee theater's production of Dreamgirls in Bass Hall 2022, Bishop Art's beloved Mellophonics, and select cumbia bands of DFW. You can find Nick every Monday in Reveler's Hall 8pm-11pm as the house bassist.
